Scalable Radar Monitoring
Currently running in the new Atlanta TRACON, RMS (RAPPI Monitor System) consists of one Rack Mount Industrial Computer running FIRS Software on a LINUX O/S. The server unit feeds any number of clients viewing stations, also running FIRS software on a Linux O/S. The clients are placed throughout the building in offices, cubes, labs and other viewing areas. The clients, as well as the server, display Short and Long Range Radars.

Customizable Alarms
The RMS System can monitor up to 16 Radars at one time. Displaying a Green, Yellow or Red Icon for each Radar’s status. Quick determination of a Radar’s status can be made by simply viewing the Radar’s Icon Color. The Clients and Server display four Radars per screen, or can display one at a time for a closer look. The RMS closely monitors the Data of all Radars, checking for proper Parrot, Permanent Echo, and RTQC locations as well as Data Integrity.
